...like mother, like daughter...

I am amazed how kids (even babies) can inherit the STRANGEST traits from their parents.

Braylie LOVES to fall asleep with the blanket over her face or with her face cuddled into a blanket. She will pull the blanket up to her face.. I keep a close eye on her--we, of course, don't want her to suffocate. When she falls asleep, I will move it away, but when I check on her again... it is back on her face!! :) Brandon teases me all the time and says "YOU DID IT! "

Last night in the store.. she was so excited...
(she must LOVE shopping--I have taught her well!)
She does this little squeal like thing like she can't catch her breath before she giggles.
She did it the whole time we were in Target.
We just giggled with her!


She is so much fun!!

we are thankful for...

so many things, but on the top of our list this Thanksgiving is...

We waited so long for her and I am so glad we get to celebrate the holidays with this special little girl!

Brandon was a little upset her first game wasn't at the Spectrum, but that will be another first! :) Our tickets were right in the middle of the standing student section. It was so loud for Braylie's little ears and I was not going to stand with her the whole game, so we moved!! :) We LOVE to see our Aggies win!

4 months and SO Blessed!

Yep, that is right...our baby is already 4 months!!
on Nov 11th

Seriously, I don't know where the time goes!
Lately I have been feeling SO extremely Blessed to have such an angel baby and I am reminded every day how much my Heavenly Father loves me. He is aware of my needs and helps me to get everything done and still be a good wife and mother AND WORK a full time job!!! I can't help but feel more than Blessed!
Braylie amazes me every day and I am super duper proud to be her mom!!

*she giggled for the 1st time when Dad was getting her ready for bed and I was curled up in a ball on the floor puking my guts out and only getting near her to feed her!
*she is so ticklish under her chin and on the side of her neck. She gets all giggly when we change her clothes! I love it!
*she loves taking baths in the warm water!

*she rolled from her front to her back, but won't do it again to show ANYONE! I promise, she did it on her own! :)
*she still loves her hands in her mouth and anything else she can get in there. She loves that dang thumb!
*she loves sitting in her bumbo.

* she gets excited to see Dad when he comes home from work!
*she finally has a consistent schedule that I can count on!
* she hates to cuddle, which, yes... makes me sad, but so nice when bed/naptime comes! She has never been a cuddler! :(
* she has outgrown most of her 0-3 clothes!
*she is getting chubby!
*she is such a smiley baby and will smile at a complete stranger!
* she talks and coos to herself and never cries when she wakes up!
* she is super content!
* she plays super well on her tummy!
* she will not go to sleep if she knows something is going on.. she doesn't want to miss out on ANYTHING... hmmmm, I have NO idea where she gets that.. do you, Mom? :)
* she makes the cutest little noise that I don't even know how to explain from the back of her throat!
* she is recognizing her toys!
*she LOVES to read!
*she sleeps with her hand on her face. She was always like this in every ultrasound so we couldn't see what she looked like!

*She likes her blanket on her face too!!
* she drools and slobbers like CRAZY!

Did I mention how much I love being her Mom? :)
If I knew all my kids would be this good, I seriously think I would have 10!!
Brandon thinks we should be done! :) Don't worry.. not really!

................FiRsT SpOoK dAy.................

We had so much fun with Braylie this year!! She did so good keeping her costume on and LOVED eating the Tulle from her tutu. She even kept the hat on!
We took her trick or treating to both Grandma's and Grandpa's and a few neighbors!
She did so good, but was so exhausted by the end of the night!
She was such a good little witch!
We always love Halloween because it is the anniversary of our first date.... we are going on 6 years! Wow! That is crazy!

CORN MAZE

The other night...Brandon's work gave out free tickets to the black island farms corn maze, so we decided to go. We had a good time and made it all the way around Edward! :) We even got to watch the pig races. :)

*** 3 months***

I am a bit behind...
our cutest little Braylie is
3 months old!!

She is growing up SO fast!
She is the best baby that anyone could ask for!
She is constantly smiling at us and is super close to a giggle.
She smiles anytime anyone talks to her! :)
She coos like crazy.
She loves playing Pat-a cake,
watching football with dad,
reading books, and swinging in her swing.
She is starting to grab at things/toys.
She can hold her head up perfectly and is almost ready to sit up.
She tries to sit forward in her car seat and won't keep her head laid back.
She has discovered her fingers and they are constantly in the mouth.

Oh, how we love that girl!!
We LOVE being her parents!
I can't wait for her to wake up in the morning to kiss her little face!

Braylie and I went to Target the other day.
I made my usual stroll through the baby stuff.
They had some cute little baby shoes, so I was trying them on Braylie.
For some reason, she thought it was the funniest thing ever!!
They must have just tickled her little feet or something!! :)
I loved it!

Back to work!! :(

Today I go back to work! :(
I would so much rather be spending 24-7 with this cute little thing like I have been.

I am super nervous about starting back up and how it will all work out, but I have faith that it will all work out! I feel like it is the right thing to do for our family right now, so why is it so hard!!??

....yard sale find & monkey family...

I have been wanting an activity playmat for Braylie for awhile, but I refuse to pay 70.00 for one!
I tried to sell some stuff at my sisters yard sale last Saturday. While there, I found this at the neighbors yard sale for 5.00. Can't beat that! It is still in really good condition. I think Braylie will like it. She already LOVES the little mirror on it!

We had a little (actually big) birthday celebration with Brandon's family on Sunday. Our cute little neices drew a monkey family for us! :)

Braylie is the perfect little football companion...her eyes are glued and she doesn't move! Sometimes she gets a little too comfy and falls asleep! :)
