BIG???

We had a Dr's appt on the 25th. She weighed at 6 lbs and 8 oz. Our next appt was Monday the 29th (because this is the only time they had with the holiday week). On Monday she weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. Um... hello... she gained almost half a pound in 4 days!! I know it is only an estimate, but I must admit, I am super nervous about having a big baby!! Agh!!

I was only 7 lbs 7 oz or something like that and Brandon was only 5 lbs!!

Where is this coming from?

I am really starting to become HUGE and not very comfortable! My legs, feet, hands and ankles are swollen because it is so stinkin hot! DR. H. checked me and said I am not quite dialated to a 1 and my cervix hasn't dropped yet, but it is well on it's way!

COME ON LITTLE ONE!!

I really am planning on getting some pictures put up if I get some time.

Baby...

Yep... still pregnant!
I am not too extremely uncomfortable, so I can't complain, but I will sure take her any day now! :)
My ankles, feet, and legs are swollen a little. I, of course, think that they are awful, but Brandon keeps reminding me that they aren't even different! WHATEVER! I know better!
We had our appt last week (we now go every week). She measured at 5 lbs and 14 oz and she is head down, which is good. If she sticks with the 1/2 lb per week and goes to 40 weeks.. we could have an 8 pounder. Dr. H. said that I have quite a bit of fluid in there! We got a picture of her, but she really wants to keep what she looks like a surprise, cus she had her hand right in front of her face! (will post picture soon) Hopefully it isn't too long.. I can't stand the wait and I need to hold her NOW!!

I have tons I need to update still. Wow...I will try to get it all posted!

Brandon is employed!!

Well... as of July 1st!! He got a job with Wasatch Peak Physical Therapy in Layton. He will be doing home health and working in the Davis hospital. He is getting paid a little more that he asked for, which is always good and they have pretty good benefits. YAY!! I am so excited and so proud of him!!
Now the house hunt begins!

Look what I made!!

I have been seeing these a lot lately and I couldn't find them anywhere. I finally asked someone that had one where she got hers. They cost 40.00-50.00!! I said forget that.. I will make my own for much cheaper! My mom has a friend that had one, so we got the pattern and wallah... here it is and I am proud to say, I did most of it myself. My mom helped a little, but I did most of it! I am quite impressed with myself andBrandon is VERY impressed! :) He thinks I need to make another one! :)

I have also been sewing lots of burpcloths for gits and of course for me/baby. I tried making baby legs.. yeah, that did not work. My mom made me the cutest blankets and is working on another one. Brandon's mom is in the process of putting together her quilt. I haven't been able to get much ready and it is driving me crazy. We are still in our apartment and have hardly any extra room! Everything is still in boxes in the corner and driving me crazy. I have a lot to do in the next couple weeks! When I got my car seat out to try this out I realized it didn't have the front adjustable strap thing on it... so we took it and the stroller back (luckilly they still took it back after 90 days) and we are now in a mad hunt to find something. I am not really liking anything and don't know what to do!

SuRgErY, JoB, & bAbY uPdAtE!!

Brandon is recovering quite well from his surgery. The first couple days he was pretty miserable and couldn't do a whole lot. Within a couple days, he had the swing back into his step and was pretty much back to himself. He still can't lift more than 2 or 3 pounds! I have been lifting EVERYTHING. I love seeing the look on people's faces when I carry everything and Brandon has NOTHING! :) lol!! Like at the grocery store! We were carrying groceries in up 3 flights of stairs and our neighbor lady grabbed some of the bags from me and then saw Brandon and tried to hand them to him... I quickly told her he can't lift because of his surgery!! Who's stupid idea was it to live on the 3RD floor? I will be SO ready for him to lift again or at least to have a house!!

Jobs are going very well and have a couple of leads/prospects that look really good. Most likely we will be in the Ogden/Layton area. The jobs don't start till July 1st, which work well for recovering from lifting for Brandon, but not so good with needing a few days off after having baby!

My fat belly is doing good. I am feeling good still, just H-U-G-E and H-O-T!! We had stake conference yesterday and the power went out, so no air conditioning. I thought I was going to DIE! The girl next to me handed me one of her kids' book to fan myself! :)
We had an appointment 2 weeks ago... she measured at 5.2 pounds! ALREADY?? Are you serious? She is still somewhat in the breech position, but kind of on an oblique angle with her head under my left arm and feet down towards the right leg. Everything looks good. He said that he wasn't worried about her not being head down yet and that he thinks with the angle she is on... she is on her way. He said that they usually weigh a little more with head up and once turned, it should be a more accurate weight.

At Riley's graduation and old man came up to me and said " I think that you might want to try a different diet... that one is just not working for you!!" Haha!! I thought it was pretty funny!

I can't believe how close all of this really is!! We have been taking a childbirth preparation class and I am beginning to wonder if that was a good or bad thing! I think it has almost made me even more scared, but hey I know how to breathe through those contractions and I will DEFINATELY be getting an epidural!! Oh well, I keep reminding myself that there are millions of people a day that do it and I should be fine! :) I know the more scared I go into it, the worse it will be!

Everyone keeps telling us how much our lives are going to change and be so different. I know that it will be so different, but like Brandon and I have talked about... It isn't that we don't love it being just the two of us, but this is what we are supposed to be doing and have looked forward to for so long.. it is the next step in our lives and we are so thrilled to have the change in our lives as different as it might be!!

Work is good, I guess.. They have been in the process of making some HUGE changes to our department. I absolutely LOVE the team I have been on and we all work so well together. I really was blessed to be put on that team. Through all the changes.. I got moved to a different team. Of 15 people 3 of us got moved. It is so stupid. They took us off that team to put us on different teams doing the exact same thing and put 3 other ones in. I am pretty upset about it and cried the rest of the day when I found out! I must have a target on my name that says "pick me, pick me". This happened last time changes were made too. It all worked out okay, so I hope that this one will too. They might not like me too well when I tell them I am off for 12 weeks paid and possibly not coming back!
