WE ARE IN OUR HOUSE...

And we are alive!

It has been the craziest week ever!

I really under estimated everything that needed to be done!

We would have never made it without our WONDERFUL family!

I feel so blessed!!

I can't even begin to say how thankful I am to everyone that has helped us make this happen!

Words are not enough!

-My mom came every night to help clean(the house was FILTHY!!), pack, and babysit (during her busiest time at work).-

-My sister came every night to babysit bringing her kids and being pregnant!-

-My Dad came every night to do odds and ends and helped me rip out carpet at 5:00 a.m. before they were there to lay it at 8:00 a.m. -

-Brandon's Dad has spend hours painting and has done an AMAZING job!!!-

-Brandon's Mom helped babysit-

-My sister in law has done lots of painting and other odds and ends!-

-My brother in law that painted my huge wall..and hopefully bathroom!-

-The rest of the family that helped us move!-

We have re-painted the whole house, tiled the laundry/half bath, new carpet (we didn't decide to re-carpet untill Tuesday!!!---so glad that we did it now!), picked out a new fridge, had new insulation put in, furnace green tagged, and packed up my apartment to move all in a weeks time! I was so busy that I forgot to take BEFORE pictures! I don't have the internet yet, but I will post after pictures as soon as I can!

Oh yeah.. and working full time for both of us!!

Originally I was supposed to drive to SLC for work every day, but it ended up only being Monday.. thank goodness!!!

We later realized we probably should have taken the week off!

And yes.. we have eaten out every night (and sometimes lunch) for the whole week!

CAN YOU SAY AWFUL!!??

I think I maybe gained 10 pounds in one week!!

I don't dare check!

And maybe even had a few severely emotional moments!

And I can't even cook.. our oven doesn't work!

We still have little projects.. but there always will be!!

The important part.. We are in our new house and we are so excited!!

We had awesome help moving from ward members/family.

We were out of our apartment and in our new house in 2 hours!!

Once we got to our new house... neighbors from all over came to help!!

It will be a great neighborhood!!

We are dead tired, but so excited for this to finally be a REALITY!!

{1st tooth}

Yep, Braylie has her 1st tooth!!
This can't be happening.
She is growing up way too fast as it is and a {tooth} is going to make her look so much older!! :(
Oh well, I love the new things we get to experience and emjoy watching her learn and grow!

The last couple nights she was really fussy, but only right before bedtime. She did NOT want to be laid down and did NOT want to be held. When you laid her down, she would kick and arch her back and scream, but when you held her she would still squirm. I thought she was just super tired, so I fed her and put her to bed. She fell right asleep and slept through the night as usual. I being the worst MOM, thought nothing of it. After a couple days, she wasn't sleeping well for her naps and was being super fussy (which is so not her).
-She was drooling like crazy-
-She was biting/sucking on her lower lip-
FINALLY, I thought to myself.. DUH!! FEEL HER GUMS FOR {TEETH}!!
I did and there it was... a sharp little {tooth} poking out.. it had already broken through!
Poor girl!!
I gave her Tylenol and she went right to bed. She has been EXCELLENT through the whole process considering a {tooth} coming in!
The {tooth} is her bottom left one. She isn't about to let anyone see it. I can only feel it!

---7 months---

Time for the 7 month update!!!


she is very mobile... she will roll from one wall to the other and back. She rolls up next to stuff (the couch, tv stand, the wall) and plays till she gets so stuck she gets mad.

blows her nose and scrunches her face when you put a tissue by her nose or try to wipe off her face.

won't go to bed untill she gets a kiss from Mom AND Dad.

sits alone

focuses really hard on objects

babbles a lot

transfers objects from one hand to the other

figured out she has bows/flowers on her head and pulls them off

also pulls off her socks (she has an obsession with toes)

she can turn around in her exersaucer

bangs toys together.. she likes the sound

has a little separation anxiety and gets sad when she can't see anyone in the room with her

loves to pull, grab, and eat hair

still loves to be wrapped up tight to sleep

she has become little miss serious.... I think she might have smiled all her smiles out the first couple months of her little life! :)

update on our house and more of Braylie

Things are going well here..

Our loan is approved on our house.. just waiting on the other guy to be able to close!
It is looking like it will be the 18th and then we will do some work on it and move in the end of the month!!
I am really not excited for the "moving" process and getting everything done, but super thrilled to have a new HOME!
Brandon keeps coming up with things that he think he might need for our new house! :)
I guess I am doing the same thing!
That is just about the only thing that is consuming our life..
that and keeping up with Braylie.

Ta Daaa!!!

We did it!!
Braylie is now eating baby food!

It has taken FOREVER for her/us to figure out!
She still does a weird thing with her tounge and doesn't eat like a normal person, but I don't care as long as it goes in! :)
SHE EATS!!
She loves applesauce and likes squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots.

It may not be clean, but at least most of it goes in!
It makes me so happy to see empty containers.. especially because I have been so worried about her eating!

I can now worry a little less! :)

Yep.. that is what happens... she knaws on it and spits it back out... she is getting better with juice and will not even begin to take breastmilk from it!
