We must have been really good this year!!!

We are both super excited and can't even stand it! We know we couldn't have gotten here without everyone's love, prayers, thoughts, fasting, etc! We love and appreciate everyone! THANKS A TON!! It means a lot and we are so blessed to be able to be parents!
I am almost 12 weeks and haven't really been sick. I did throw up once, but I think I had the flu! The triple dosage of CLOMID, the throwing up at Maddox, and the hot flashes and headaches was all worth it!!! I have been so stinkin' tired and can't get through a 10 hour day of work without a nap on my breaks!
It was so much fun to tell everyone and everyone was so impressed that we kept it secret for so long! I am not a secret keeper, so it was especially hard for me and I kept begging Brandon to let me just tell ONE person, but he said to keep telling him (not as fun..cus he already knew). I did good and didn't tell ONE person untill Christmas Eve. I guess it helped that we didn't know untill 6 weeks either! :) I have lied a lot.. sorry to all of those who I have lied to...I had to keep it secret! :)

Desi.. I know that you will see this and you will be the only one at work that knows, so SHHHHH... I am planning on telling everyone at the next meeting!! :)

Oh, and I will post Christmas pictures later.. We are too busy playing with one of our gifts that we absolutely LOVE!!! Thanks MOM AND DAD!!!

.....DONE.....

OH MY GOODNESS! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT CHRISTMAS IS SO CLOSE TO BEING HERE!! I CAN'T WAIT!!
Brandon and I both agreed that we would not be having a big Christmas this year. As we were talking abut it.. neither of us could even think of a thing that we wanted.. and we really don't have any money, so it worked out great! We have been SO SO blessed and I really couldn't ask for more than that!! I thought it would be so devastating, but I actually really am glad that we decided to only get one small gift and stockings for each other. It has helped us to focus a lot more on why we really celebrate Christmas and celebrate the wonderful traditions that we have. I think that I am finally DONE with my Christmas shopping..and Brandon is even done too.. usually he waits till Christmas Eve or a couple days before...crazy men!

Brandon finished up with his finals last week! His last one was a bugger, but he made it. This will be his LAST FINAL EVER!! HOORAY !!! I think that I am excited about it as he is! I was so excited about it and I wanted to do something for Brandon. I ran around to a couple stores on my lunch break and couldn't find a dang CONGRATS balloon, so I ended up making a stupid candy bar poster that was super cheesy.. but he LOVED it!

I am so sick of him always having to study!! Is that selfish? :) HE is officially FINISHED with his coursework. Bring on the two 8-week internships and the doctorate is COMPLETE!!! OH yeah... and then the licensure exam, but Brandon heard it wasn't too hard!! I can't wait and I know that Brandon can't either!! I know that in a few short months, I will be asking... Wait a minute, I wanted this? I am so ready for a change.. new job, new house, new area, new everything! :) Brandon will enjoy his break as this probably will be one of his last breaks ever.. oh, so sad!! When do I get mine!!?? :) haha!

I hope that everyone has a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!

I hope you are happy BYU!!!

AGH!! Of course they got their way.. "LET'S play on a neutral court so that we can win". Typical BYU!!! I think that BYU lost a lot of respect from a lot of neutral fans by doing this anyway.. so I hope it was worth it to them...stupid cougars! I guess everyone knows they were too whoosy to play us at home. You know dang well that if we would have played on our home court, we would have killed them!! At least we can feel good about the way we play and don't give cheap shots to win!! Within just a couple minutes.. they gave us a bloody nose and a cut above the eye!! Man.. aren't we "The Lord's school"and supposed to be saints? That is HARDLY the way they act/play!! It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they play DIRTY!!!
I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY STUPID BYU!!

Me and Brandon we dying laughing at these...

"Aren't Missions supposed to be 2 years?" (then list the players who served less, and the amount of time they served)

"BYU: Keeping ugly girls out of Utah State since 1888."

"Separated at birth?"

"Honor Code = Satan's Plan"

"Did Brigham Young Have a Beard Card?"

"Waste of Tithing"

"BYU: The Suckiest Bunch of Sucks that Ever Sucked!"

"Marriott Center = Large and Spacious Building"

"Rameumptum U - Alma 31:21"

"You can run from the Spectrum, but you can't hide from the Aggies!"

"Hard Liquor"

"Dave Rose voted against Prop 8"

"Lee, tell your wife to not beat me up, please"

"If a tree falls in a forest, and no one else is around...does Cummard hear it?"

"Jimmer is a stupid name"

"Hey Jonathan, Brazil called, they don't want you back!"

"Miles will kick a man when he's down" (Bogut reference)

"I saw Dave Rose kissing....Dick Harmon, underneath the mistletoe last night"

"Greg Wruebel and Mark Lyons broadcast pantless"

"Obviously your football team needs to repent"

"Shouldn't you all be getting ready for Sunday right now?"

"Clorox with Bleach called....you win!!"

"Sorry we offend you"

"BYU: Where the girls are girls and the boys are too!"

"The BCS called, you're still not invited"

Enter to learn, go forth to condescend

If I owned Hell and Provo, I'd live in Hell and rent out Provo

And the best.....from a BYU player himself... "UTAH STATE FANS ARE MEAN!!"

ReLiEvEd...

Brandon presented his DoCtOrAtE project last Wednesday. He has put so much work into this and was so stressed over it and making sure that it was perfect and exactly what his professors would want. He said that I could come watch him. I was going to maybe go, but then as it got closer I think I was more nervous for him than he was for himself! :) I decided not to go and Brandon decided he didn't want me to go either ! :)
His professors said that he did an ExCeLlEnT job and they were very impressed with it and the information that he had. Brandon said that the Chair professor had a HuGe smile on his face!
I met Brandon for dinner after to CeLeBrAtE.. he would not stop saying how ReLiEvEd he was now that this was over! :) He still keeps saying it, just not as often! :) I feel relieved too that he doesn't have so much stress.
I am going to say it again..and it won't be the last..

I AM SO PROUD OF MY HUSBAND!!

Today I am thankful for...

time off work..

Who can complain about a 4-day weekend? You ask what have I done with my time? Nothing worthwhile! :) Just kidding.. I plan to finish most of my Christmas projects and maybe if I get up the energy from being sick.. maybe put up Christmas. I am a scrooge this year, but I really am not excited to put it all out! That is BAD!

Today I am thankful for...

Black Friday sales...

I wasn't going to go to any sales this morning. There was nothing that I needed or even wanted and since we have no money.. it worked out good. Brandon really wanted the Sony Bravia T.V. that was 1499.00 (yes.. that is on sale). I was mean and said "NO WAY!! That will have to wait till we have two incomes!" I saw that Cricut cartridges were on sale for a good price (they are NEVER on sale), so Brandon is such a good husband and woke up with me and drove me to go get them. We even drove to a couple different stores to get the ones I wanted. I don't think I will be able to keep them all, so I have to decide which ones I really like.

Today I am thankful for...

Holidays and spending time with family...

I am so glad that we have holidays and can spend them with our families. This year was with the Goldsberry clan. The food was delicious! I felt so worthless.. I got sick with an awful cold the day before, so I slept during most of the preparation. Don't worry.. I did help with clean up! :)
I had to include this picture (the only one I took).
Little Tyler LOVES Brandon.. they are buddies. Every time we are together.. Tyler goes right to Brandon. When we watch them.. he doesn't so much like me when it is time for bed or any of the time, but will climb right into Brandon's lap! Today.. he went right to Brandon when he wanted to play and here they are playing with the animals. Brandon is so dang cute, and so good with the little kids. I can't wait till he can have his own kids to be so cute with!

Today I am thankful for...

Brandon's education.....

I know I have mentioned this before too, but I am so glad that Brandon was accepted into the DPT program at the U! Mostly because it is in state tuition and because we got to stay close to family! He has done such a good job and for the millionth time, I am so stinkin" proud of him! Just a few more weeks of course work and that will be it. Just a couple internships and then GRADUATION for my doctor husband! :)
I have to brag for just a second.. they had a nasty test a little while ago that had two parts.. the first part was graded early and only half the class passed.. Brandon passed! The second part was graded not too long later.. even less people passed, but guess what... Brandon passed!!! How could I not be extremely proud!! GREAT JOB HONEY!! I am so glad that he has worked so hard and I am so grateful he is doing it to provide for an awesome future for our future family!

Today I am thankful for...

our vehicles...

I know this is super random, but I really am so grateful that we have vehicles to get around in. Ours may cause us lots of stress and financial burden, but we have them! :) There are so many people that don't have vehicles and depend on public transportation. I am so grateful for the freedom to go and do as I please! :) Thanks to Brandon's wonderful parents who have let us drive the truck for free till we can afford to get another vehicle!!

Today I am grateful for...

the apartment we have to live in...
It is so simple, but I hear of so many people each day that are homeless and have nowhere to go. I am so glad that we have a warm place to stay/live especially this winter. We try to rely mostly on the 2 people below us to use their heat a lot so that it will rise to us and we won't have to use the heat so much. Yeah, that is not working so well, although we have only turned the heat on a couple times so far! I am not so grateful for the ridiculous price we pay for rent, but what else can you do?

Today I am thankful for...

being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints....

A little while ago, my brother in law asked something along the lines of "Do you ever wonder how different you would be if you weren't a member of the church?" It really got me thinking a lot since then and I KNOW I would not be the person that I am today. I am so grateful that I was raised in the church and was taught of the gospel and the blessings that come from being a member and being faithful!! Thanks Joe for reminding me how blessed we really are!

Today I am thankful for...

The UTES winning....

I know some of you are thinking.. "Wait..aren't they Aggie fans? Why do they care who wins?" Well, Brandon hates BYU as much as he LOVES the AGGIES, so he is not happy when the "PUSSYS" win! :) I am thankful that the Utes are winning because I can have a happy husband!!

let's hope I don't have to change this in a couple hours!

Today I am thankful for...

my testimony.....

I am so extremely grateful to have a testimony of the church and many other things. I have learned so much over the years and so grateful for those trials/experiences that have helped me to become who I am and that have strengthened my testimony more than I ever imagined!

Today I am thankful for...

cheap gas....

I love being able to fill up my car for half the price as I used to. I know that I should enjoy it now because it will start to sneak right back up there. I love being able to leave the gas station and not want to cry! :) I hardly ever go anywhere and don't have to fill up a ton, but it still feels GOOD!

Today I am thankful for...

My job..
I know that I have said this so many times and everyone is probably so sick of hearing about it, but I really do feel so blessed to have such a wonderful job with awesome benefits. When we moved to SLC ( I was still working at Maddox while I was looking for jobs), I would interview and get turned down after each one. I couldn't figure out why and I was so upset and thought I would have to make my career at Maddox. It was also hard to be away from Brandon. I would call him nightly and cry and he kept reminding me that the Lord would take care of us and I would find something soon in slc. I finally had 2 job offers at once, one with the state and one for a director at a slc district preschool. I obviously took the state job because it had benefits and paid much better. It took about a month till the job started and the first couple weeks of training was VERY overwhelming and I wondered if I really could do the job, but I prayed my guts out that I could soak it all in, understand and know what I was doing. A lot of people quit and I wondered how I was going to make it through, but I knew I didn't have another choice. I MADE IT (with help of course) and now enjoy this job...as much as you can enjoy working. :) I really do feel so blessed to have this job and I know that someone really was looking out for me/us at that time and waiting for such an awesome job opportunity to come up. WE have awesome benefits too that have totally saved us with all of Brandon's health issues, although the bills keep coming. We still don't make a lot of money and struggle most of the time, but it could be a lot worse and we really are so very blessed!

Today I am thankful for...

my family...
I am so glad that I have such a wonderful family (on both sides). We have been through a lot together in the last little bit, but I think it has made us become even closer and realize how important it is to have each other. I love being able to call up my sisters, my mom, my dad any time and be able to just talk about everything and anything. They are all so supportive and would do anything for us. We are blessed to have such wonderful family!

I am thankful for...

I haven't had things go the way I may have planned for them to go lately, but I have decided that since it is time for Thanksgiving I need to remember and focus on the things that I am thankful for and help me stay positive and be grateful for the things that I DO have and that ARE going my way. I am going to post something I am thankful for each day untill the end of November.

Today I am thankful for...........
Brandon...

He is such an amazing husband and I am so lucky that he is in my life! He works so hard and never gives up on anything. He puts full effort into everything he does. He is so motivated and strives to always go above and beyond. I am so proud of him for all of his accomplishments and the good grades that he gets. He sacrifices his time to serve others. He always makes sure that there is time to spend with me and that my needs are met also. He is an excellent example and takes such good care of me. I don't know what I would do without him and I am SOOOOO thankful for him!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

I am aware that I haven't been so great at blogging and I am reminded of it quite a bit..thanks Mom and Cara! :) This might be a little boring, but it's all I got! :)

I am extremely behind. On the 7th... last weekend we had a birthday party for my Dad's 50th birthday. I am sure that you have all already seen the pictures on Cara and Alyssa's blogs, but I will post them again on mine. He was super surprised and had fun. I suck at bowling, but what do you expect when you haven't been in a very long time? I made the wonderful cake. I didn't dare cut the 5 without Brandon's help afraid that it would end up looking nothing like a 5! :) We did it together, although Brandon was quite proud of himself and struttin' his stuff when it turned out good! :) It melted a little on the way there, but from what I was told was pretty tasty. I couldn't eat any.. I must have had too much of the scraps from cutting it earlier! :) And.. we put on 52 candles instead of 50! Whoops! We counted wrong! Oh well.. past a certain number it doesn't matter anyway, right?

I had Tuesday off of work for Veterans day. It is a really random day to have off, but I will take it! I ran errands and got stuff ready to start a Christmas project, which I am still trying to get stuff together to start it! :) Why do I do this to myself? :)

Work has been insanely busy. It gets that way when it starts to get cold and around Christmas when everyone has spent all their money on Christmas, so it is just going to get worse! They keep trying new things and make us even busier, but I guess I like to be challenged and have something to do so it is a good thing..except for when the computers go all funky! :) I really am so grateful to have such a great job!

My cousin, who is a personal trainer, recommended this to my sister (why she needs it.. not quite sure) to try. She told me about it and I decided to give it a try.. 30 days... heck ya! I have been doing it 3 times a week with my regular workout and I can finally see a change!! Thanks Kellie! I haven't lost a pound, but my pants fit better and my love handles are almost gone! I am hoping that the pounds will start to come off soon! So for any of you who are looking for a good DVD to tone up and maybe lose some weight..TRY THIS!! I found it on deepdiscountdvd.com for like 11.00 and free shipping!

Brandon has been so busy working on his doctorate project and stressed out as can be. I don't think I have ever seen him stressed! Poor kid, but hey.. I told him during the summer when he wasn't doing anything to start working on it! He wouldn't listen. He has almost got it done and the professor helping him thinks that they can get it published into health journals.. or whatever they are called! I don't understand it enough to proofread it! :) He only has a few more weeks of school for this semester, which will be his LAST semester of course work. WOW!! That feels so good to say!!! I thought we would never be here! He has two internships in the spring.. one in Logan and one here in SLC and then he is DONE and will have his doctorate!!!!! I am so proud of him for all the hard work he has put into his school and how well he has done!! I know I could never do what he has done! HOORAY!!! Hopefully I can make it 5 more months! We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to first of all, allow Brandon to be a part of this program and second, to stay in state and stay close to family through it all!

We went and saw the new Bond movie.

Brandon loves the Bond movies and owns ALL of them ever made. I still can't follow it, but we made a deal if I went to that with him... he would go to Twilight with me next week! :)

Pretty fair trade, I think, except for Twilight will be much better!

This weekend we worked on a bunch of projects. I borrowed my Dad's hand sander to sand wood for my project. Brandon was so good to come out in the cold and help me. We had to sit outside the back of our apartments. We got a few bad looks out the windows, because it was so loud, but I didn't really care! About 20 minutes into the project..the sander busted!! Sorry Dad! DANG IT! I hate leaving unfinished stuff! Then Brandon started on our bathroom project. Our tub/shower is so dang annoying. Every time we take a shower, it leaks about a gallon of water out onto our floor getting it, the rug, and our shelf thing ALL WET and nasty. We had the maintenance people come fix it, but it seemed to just make it worse. We decided to take matters into our own hands and do the job RIGHT by adding the splash guards where they needed to go and resealing around the bottom with CLEAR silicone instead of weird white glue stuff that grew mold! I know.. super nasty!! Hopefully we have the problem solved now! I guess the people that lived here before us, put up a new back in the shower and our apartment is the only one that has this! LUCKY US!

We ended our week getting numerous medical bills that we were not expecting. We still aren't quite sure where we are getting the money for that and for our $1200.00 car problem that HAD to be fixed! Anyone have a really rich uncle that we could adopt? :) I guess that it will be an easy Christmas this year.. a fixed 2000 Toyota Camry and a healthy body without a gallbladder! :) I am going to tie a big red bow on our car and around Brandon on Christmas morning!

Child Protection Registry

I got this email today at work and thought I would share it with all of you!
Go register to protect you and your family!
I think it is cool that there are things like this available!

The Utah Child Protection Registry was created on the idea that, just as millions of Americans have the choice to protect their home phone numbers from solicitors, they should also have the choice to protect their families from unwanted, adult-oriented advertisements.
Modeled after the National Do Not Call Registry, Utah established laws to protect e-mail addresses, mobile phone numbers (SMS), instant messenger IDs, and fax numbers from adult-oriented solicitations. These solicitations may include, but are not necessarily limited to: illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, pornography, and gambling. And like the do-not-call list, when you register your family addresses, you are removing your contact information from adult-oriented company and marketing solicitation lists.
This is a free, state administered service. For additional information and to register your household contact points today, visit www.kidsregistry.utah.gov

30 minute time limit

I am so annoyed..

I went to the gym last night and I was on the elyptical. About 30 minutes into the workout a lady came in and stood right next to the machine waiting for it. She kept walking around back to check my time. It was over 30 minutes, but I was not done with my workout.. so I kept going thinking.. what is she going to do so I kept going. There are 4 of the elypticals that I was on adn they were full, but about 7 of the other ones and plenty other machines that were empty. She seriously had the nerve to tell me that there was a 30 minute time limit! Are you serious? AGh!! I wanted to punch her! What is she? The stupid machine police? I was a brat and told her that I was almost done and kept going. I was going to stay on as long as I wanted. She kept glaring at me.. what is she going to do.. TELL ON ME? EW... I am so scared! The girl next to me got off her machine and so the dumb lady got on that one and the whole rest of the time she was glaring at me. Then her husband came over and I couldn't hear what they said, (I had my headphones in) but I KNOW that they were talking about me because they kept looking over at me and glaring! AGH!! Who do they think they are? Why not go get on a different machine and wait till I am DONE and burn some calories while you wait instead of standing there patroling my time! I finished and went to the treadmill on the other side of the room and I could see that she was still giving me crusties! GET A LIFE LADY!! I watched the time on her to make sure she didn't go over 30 min.. I would have gone and told her "THERE IS A 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT PSYCHO". I was so dang annoyed!

Our First Date 5 years ago!!

Caramie called to tell me that I need to update my blog with "SOMETHING",
so this is what you get!!
So.. call me crazy, but I love to remember big dates in our lives and celebrate them. Is that part of me being very sentimental? Yes.. probably! I never have been a HUGE fan of Halloween since I grew up, but I LOVE the day because it reminds me of mine and Brandon's 1st date! I will tell you about our first date.
I had always had a little bit of a crush on Brandon and hardly anyone knew. We had done a couple things together with a big group, but nothing serious. He would always flirt with me at work and say things that I would think... "what is that supposed to mean". My sister and brother in law (who is also Brandon's 2nd cousin) always tried to get me to ask him out and Tai (Brandon's sister) always said we should date. We both had RULES that we were not going to date people from work, because it would just be weird!

It was a couple days before Halloween and Brandon had checked the schedule and noticed that I didn't work on Halloween and neither did he.. so he asked if I wanted to go hang out with him and his friends.. or somethin like that.. so I of course said.. Yes. I wasn't quite sure if this was considered a date or not at the time. When it got closer to that day.. he called me and asked if I wanted to go to the Box Elder High School Championship Football game. I wasn't extremely excited about it, but agreed to go with him. He came and picked me up after school and we drove to Brigham City, picked up his friend Nate and went to his house where we picked up his Dad and got ready to walk down to the game. Yep... I was with the guys! :) It wasn't so bad untill it started to SNOW!! I was so not prepared for it to snow.. I had a coat, but that was about it! I thought for sure we would get up and leave soon. NOPE!! I am not one to complain to people that I don't know so well and I was too shy to say I was freezing cold or that I was going to leave.. I was freezing cold and was sharing a blanket with Nate. Brandon's Dad thought I was on a date with Nate! :) I wanted to scoot over close to Brandon and get warm, but I didnt dare..especially with his Dad there! He likes to tell people that he went on our first date with us! Brandon had nice warm gloves and pants on.. I had a blanket. I thought for sure he would give me his gloves beccause my hands and my whole body were FREEZING, but he didn't till the game was almost over! I still wasn't warm and I was so GLAD when the game was finally over! I don't remember if we won or not! Brandon later said he knew I was the one for him after I sat through that whole game! I am sure glad that I did, although it will never happen again! :) We walked back home and had some hot chocolate and headed back up to Logan. We met up with some friends and decided to go to dinner at Ruby Tuesday. Brandon and I were the only couple! :) We then decided to go watch a movie ( The fall of the House of Usher..super lame and not scary at all! )with a bunch of people at my apartment. Everyone that got hamburgers for dinner got sick! Brandon, me and I think someone else were sitting in the love sac..it was one of those HUGE ones..I kept waiting for Brandon to get close to me or touch me or do ANYTHING!

Finally with about 5 minutes left of the movie.. he put his hand on my leg!! :) lol. THen it was time to go home and he gave me a hug and said we have to hang out again sometime! I was so scared but so excited at the same time!! It took him about a week to call me.. I had a friend that lived by him and I was over there and decided to stop by to say Hi.. he wasn't there, so I left him a message to call me.. he called me and from then on.. we were always together! I remember hiding in the corner behind the couch at his apartment when Tai would come over. We kept it a secret at work for a good month and a half, which is AMAZING! I was too scared that everyone at work would hate me if we didn't work! :) It didn't take me long to realize that the CRUSH I had wasn't just a crush! I am so glad everything did work out and that we are still together and happy as ever!
I don't have pictures from that date, but I will post a few from when we were dating.. this was before digital cameras were big.. so I don't have a lot.

Picture Tag

Tag rules: Go into your picture folders and find the 4th folder, then click on the 4th picture and post it, then tell the story about the picture!

Yes...super random picture! This if from our apartment in Brigham. It is our somewhat walk in closet that I miss so much! I have since found the benefits of organizing my clothes by color! :) I get so attached to things and every time we move...I have to take pictures of every part of the house so that I won't forget anything about it or the memories! :) I am such a dork!! WE loved our apartments in Logan and Brigham and still wish we could be paying 495.00/month for a 2 floor condo!!

Raging hormones!

This is kind of gross.. if you have a weak stomach.. stop now! We went and ate at Maddox for lunch! I got so hot and so sick. I ran to the bathroom and barely made it. When I got into the stall.. I was so dizzy and ready to pass out.. I fell and hit my head on the door.. I really didn't feel like I was going to throw up, but all of a sudden before I could get to the toilet... it came..all over the floor...all of my 15.00 lunch! Oh man! I was so embarassed! Nobody was in there at the time, but some ladies came in after and asked who they could go get for me and they insisted that i was pregnant!! I WISH!!! Nope.. just the dang hormones from my triple dosage of clomid! I tried to clean up as much as I could.. but everyone told me not to worry about it.. the poor busser girls that had to clean it up.. I am so sorry, but as my mom said... just payback for all the times i had to clean that crap up! :) The doctor told me to keep taking the clomid and finish it out, so it was 6 days of hot flashes, headaches and raging hormones! I was hoping that means that something is finally working, but my appointment yesterday wasn't as good as I hoped! There is nothing more frusterating than having no control over something that you want so bad!! How come something that comes so easy for most people has to be so hard for others!? Okay.. i know the answer.. but it doesn't make it any easier!!

San Francisco!!!

BEWARE: LOTS OF PICTURES AHEAD!!
Brandon finally gave in to my begging and pleading that I really needed to get out and go somewhere. We had other plans for Fall break..but they kept falling through. We weren't going to do anything, but the Wednesday before fall break I told myself.. we were going somewhere. I called Brandon and told him that we had to go somewhere. I searched online for airline tickets.. but all just a little more than we wanted to spend. I figured that we could drive to San Francisco since it was only 750 miles! That night we found a hotel on priceline and got it for more than half price and then it was final... we were going!! Kind of a quick decision, but we packed up and left on Saturday morning. It took us all day to get there and the driving sucked! I thought we would never get there! It didnt help that just over the Nevada border we hit the snow storm through one of the passes and lost the hour that we gained with the time change! The storm wasn't even that bad, but the semi trucks thought that they needed to go 2 mph down it in the ONE lane that was open. It took us over an hour to get down it and it was only about 10 miles long! It was insane! One of the times Brandon finally got in the closed lane and passed as many vehicles as he could!:) It was fun to spend the time with Brandon! We were exhausted just after the 11 hour drive, so we checked into our hotel, got something to eat and went to bed!
The next day we started our exploring. First we went to the painted ladies (I like to call them the full house houses because they are on the start of full house). They are 6 victorian houses painted pastel colors across from a park.
We found a free parking spot on the side of the road which was super lucky.. parking is ridiculously expensive and rare there! We put our next destination in the TOMTOM and it was only 2 miles, so we decided to walk.. we walked and walked.. and finally made it to Union Square.

There are so many fun shops there! The Macy's has 8 floors and it is all womens... mens has a different store! We then headed up to Chinatown... nothing too exciting!
Then the thought of walking back to our car was awful! I had some dang good shoes on or it would have been lots worse! On our way back we saw a little bit of the air show and saw the blue angels. The whole day walking through downtown and the dirty gross streets, I kept telling Brandon how grateful I was to live in Utah and for the things I have and to never move me outside Utah!!
Then we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge. WOW!! That thing is HUGE! Our camera batteries died.. so most of the pictures are on our camcorder camera and I am not really sure how to get them onto the computer! We drove across it and then parked and walked across it! I was a little bit in shock that we were actually there to see it in person! There is an awesome view of alcatraz and the city. It took us an hour and a half to go about 15 miles in downtown traffic and the smell from the sewer was disgusting! AGh!

We also......
went to Fishermans wharf,
We both knew that this would be an excellent place to try fish... neither of us could do it!
Pier 39,

looked at alcatraz from the pier, (we were too cheap to pay $80.00 for a boat ride and tour out there.)

Saw the sea lions,

visited the aquarium,
Yes... even I touched the dang shark! I also touched a sting ray and numerous starfish! I know that all you are amazed!!

went to ghiradelli square,
Um...the ice cream and free samples of chocolate were yummy!

rode the trolley,
I couldn't stop saying this in my head! :) Some of the streets that we went up and down were so scary and steep! At first.. there was no way I was going to ride on the outside and hang on..but on our way back.. I knew I had to try it... that way is so much funner!
saw Lombard Street.
We didn't drive down this.. but we walked down it and it was so dang steep!! There are driveways on it too.. I don't know how they get in their garages!
We decided that the $35.00 for parking (the was right next to where we needed to go was worth it after the day before walking probably more than 7 miles! :) Brandon got pooped on right on his forehead as we were walking through the pier! He wouldn't let me take a picture!

I loved those old cable cars...they still use them! They are so dang cool. The bay bridge goes over to Oakland and is about 5 miles long! I hate bridges.. but it was still cool to drive that far on one! The next day we packed up and headed home.. I started not feeling so good and was getting hot flashes and headaches and I thought it was a little of clomid and mostly being in the car for so long and having the sun hitting directly at me. We had such a good time and we were so glad that we went! Brandon was a good sport with me having to take a gazillion pictures!

St. George Happenings!

We headed to St. George a couple weekends ago. I am very behind! Brandon chose not to go so that he could get caught up with school. On Saturday we (Dad, Aunt Brenda, Aunt MaShel, Me, Riley, Breann, Hannah, Chloe, Rachel, Sara, and Saya) went and did the 2 mile mayors walk. My Dad and I ran a little bit of it. Sad that I can't even run a full 2 miles but there are people that can run a full 26.2 miles! My cousin ran it and did awesome! Here are some of our pictures from the day. It was pouring rain so we are kid of wet and icky!

There were so many people at Grandma and Grandpa's this night! It is fun to be able to spend time with all the family!
