bAbY gIrL!!!

Dr. H. said that he is extremely confident and overly cocky about the findings! Neither Brandon or I could see the 3 lines that he tried to show us, but he said " just trust me", so we will!

I did feel a girl from the beginning, but after everyone kept saying BOY and having dreams about our new dark haired little boy.. I started to question myself! When he said GIRL..I was a little shocked!! I guess my motherly intuition is right on!! I think that all of these little girls coming into our family and friends might have had a plan.. we better WATCH OUT!

We cannot wait!!! Seriously... 5 more months till we get to meet her?

Brandon was a little bummed at first that it wasn't a boy, but what Dad doesn't want a little boy to follow him around and takes to the ball games and go golfing, etc. When we walked out Brandon said.." oh man.. she is not going to want to go golfing and to the games with me!" THen he thought about it for a second and said " I don't care... she is going kicking or screaming!" You all know as well as I do that she will be wrapped around his little finger in no time! :)

We are both super excited and go grateful that she is healthy!!

Sorry to everyone who has checked 30 times.. I was going to post last night, but we were at Brandon's parents and Brandon was on their computer all night working on an assignment and I fell asleep!

We find out what we are having (boy or girl) at our next appointment, which is Wednesday Jan 28th! We hope that our baby cooperates and we will be able to see. We can't stand having to wait longer! :) I don't know how people don't find out!
We will lOvE our baby no matter if it is a boy or girl.. we just feel so bLeSsed to have this new little one in our lives!

NO SMOKING ALLOWED!!!!!!

I have always HATED the smell of smoke and when people smoke in public and you are walking behind them and get a big whiff of their smoke! It makes me so mad and it is SO rude!! Or when you are sitting at a stoplight and someone is smoking in their car and it comes into your car through the exhaust!! HELLO!! RUDE!

Now that I am pregnant, it bothers me even more now than it ever has!! Why should my baby have to suffer because some idiot (that I don't even know) is deciding to be selfish and smoke in front of me? I think it is extremely rude! I know that they probably can't tell that I am pregnant yet most of the time and maybe it will make a difference once I am showing, but STILL.. it drives me crazy!! I think that if someone lights up in front of me.. I am going to let 'em know how I feel! :) yeah.. we will see! :) It is okay to be a little protective already, isn't it? lol

A Wii bit excited!!!

I sucked at taking pictures this year!

As I said before we had a wonderful Christmas! Not only were we able to share our excitement of a new baby in our near future, but shortly after, we got a gift that we have been debating buying for a long time, but couldn't quite justify it right now. We had decided to get it for Brandon's graduation present, but My parents got it for us instead........ a.............

Wii!!! All the siblings got one and we all opened them together and started screaming when we opened the box enough to see the little W-i-i printed on the box!! I wish I would have gotten a picture of Brandon's face when he first saw it.. he was so stinkin' excited!! It was not quiet in there for quite awhile because of all the screaming of excitement! Thanks Mom and Dad!! I don't think that there has been a day since we got it that it hasn't been played! The next day we called around and found the Wii fit! I rock at the Hula Hoop and bowling, but that is pretty much it! :)

We then of course opened our ANNUAL Christmas Eve pajamas. I know that we are grown adults, but I cannot seem to go a year breaking the tradition of NOT getting pajamas!! I can't stand to be left out! I cannot tell you how many pair of BLUE pajama bottoms that Brandon has! Well, one for each Christmas we have had together, so that makes..... 6! He won't wear any different. I seriously debated wrapping up an old pair, but couldn't do it!! :)

Christmas morning we slept in and had breakfast after waiting for lovely Perry power to come back on. We got a late start opening gifts ( 10:30ish). This is the latest I think I have ever opened gifts!

That night we headed into the Goldsberry's for the Goldsberry get together. Everyone had to leave early because of the crazy amount of snow that was coming down, but it was still so much fun to have everyone together! What a fun family that I am blessed to be married into! I know that this is super lame, but I have NO pictures! Everything is on our camcorder!

We stayed in Brigham the whole weekend.. went sledding, to the movies, played the Wii (note to all those Wii players out there: always wear the strap on your wrist when holding the remote!), hung out, ate, laughed, and had fun. Saturday morning we finally decided it was time to come home and sleep in our own bed, but it is so nice to not have to be anywhere or go anywhere!


We had such a great Christmas and we we so glad that we chose to keep it simple! We both became so much closer to Christ and it was easier to serve others not being caught up in the madness! It wasn't as awful as I originally thought it would be, it turned out to be one of the best I have had! I was able to be with the ones I love and that is all that matters!

We decided to have our own little SUGAR BOWL party, which mostly consisted of eating pizza, laying on the couch and falling asleep and switching channels back and forth. But hey.. it had me for the first little bit and I usually can't stand to watch football!

We went to get pizza from little caesar's and I guess everyone else had the same idea!! :) This picture is from my phone so not so great. The line was out the door and kept getting longer and longer... I had to laugh!! The line went a lot faster than it looked!

P.S. I am announcing at work (at our team meeting) on Wednesday that I am pregnant. I have and idea, but wanted to see if anybody else has some cute ideas!!!

Again.. I suck and didn't take any pictures! (Tai.. I might have to steal some of yours when you post them).
We had our second appt on the 31st. I have a fear that my baby will stop growing or developing all the time. I try not to think about it, but I can't help it! The appointment went great and all is well and measuring right on. The heart is still beating perfectly! I am so glad that I chose to stay with Dr. H and that we get to have an ultrasound each visit and all on DVD! It is so reassuring. Next visit we will get to find out if it is a BOY OR GIRL! Brandon says either way.. he is still getting them all dressed up to watch and go to all the USU games with him!! :)


For the evening we went to Brett (Brandon's brother) and Kristi's house. I didn't think I would make it till midnight, but with the help of puzzles, games, food, pizookies, Wii bowling competition (which I took 2nd place in), and some fireworks I was able to ring in the new year afterall! We had a great year in 2008 and learned so much! We look forward to all the changes that are coming our way in 2009!! Hope yours is great also!
