-ADORABLE-

Go look at these ADORABLE pictures of my Brays!!
Thanks so much Elise!!
You did an excellent job!
I LOVE them!!!

I had Braylie sitting on my lap while I was looking at these and she saw them and got the hugest smile on her face and looked over at me like... "Hey, that is me!" She started getting really excited and jumping up and down! :) What a goober. My guess is that she doesn't really know it is her, but it was hilarious! She got really excited when I showed her a picture of herself on the camera today also!!

Love that little thing more than I ever thought possible!

A little cuddle time...

Brandon and I both got colds. Mine went away and then turned into an awful sinus infection. We really were trying to be careful to not let Braylie get it. I was on a strong anitbiotic, which I thought would get to Braylie enough that she wouldn't get sick.
IT DIDN'T WORK!
She got it!
Poor thing!!
She woke up the 1st night every half hour (poor thing couldn't breathe) ON FIRE with a fever of 101 degrees.
I stripped her down, gave her some Tylenol and tried to calm her down...she wouldn't stop crying. We tried everything... I even texted my mom at 3:00 in the morning!
I finally just held her in my arms and had her head raised to drain her nose a bit.. she finally fell asleep...YES.....IN MY ARMS!! It would be even better if she wasn't sick and when I didn't need the sleep too! :) She was still waking up every 1/2 hour! Brandon went and slept on the couch!
wuss!!
Luckilly the next day was my day off anyway, so the no sleep was ok.
I survived!

I felt so bad for her.. she can't do a thing about it and neither can I, really!
She was so congested and we couldn't get any of the mucous out.
Her fever went away the next day.
I elevated her crib mattress with a couple phone books to help the crap drain out.

The next night I told Brandon before we went to bed "it could be a long night!" I fell asleep and woke at at 5:00 and realized I hadn't woken up once! Braylie slept in 2 hours longer than usual!

She has been miserable and so fussy! It is so not Braylie.. we didn't know what to do!

She is feeling a lot better with each day and almost back to little Brays!
She has been a lot more cuddly, which I love! She did fall asleep in my arms once more during the day when I could LOVE every second of it! Other times she wouldn't let you touch her and everything you tried just made her more mad!
Sick babies definitely are not fun. I am just glad that it was a little cold and nothing more serious!

The good of an ugly situation: I got some cuddle time
The bad of the ugly situation: a sick baby

It's OURS!!

We got it!!
Papers are signed and the house will be ours as long as everything goes through,
but it is all looking good!! YAY!!

My head is overwhelmed with all the decorating ideas floating around.

The house is in Layton--southeast ish.

We will be in by the end of February!

We can't wait to have our own place and make it our HOME!
and excited to not throw our money away to rent..

I would love to tell you exactly where or post a picture,
but I am a little hesitant with all those creepies out there!

I want to drive by it numerous times a day, but Brandon thinks I am crazy! :)

Home Sweet Home...Maybe!!!???

It has only been 9 months since we started this little adventure!
We have changed our minds numerous times in the process
to build..to buy
rambler... 2 story..multi level
new...old...
$$$$$
We have given up so many times because we weren't able to find anything but TRASH.
I am so sick of looking at houses and I even have my mom and sister looking for homes for us.. they just might be looking a little further north than we want! :)
Then I get frustrated being in this dang apartment and reminded not to miss out on that extra $8000.00--who can pass that up!?

Seriously..
We are on what feels like house #251
I am sure Andy (our realtor) is really sick of us

A couple weeks ago, we finally got really serious about it and had made some final decisions what we were looking for and what we weren't going to settle for, etc and realizing that this is our first home and can't have it all... We did a search and found a big list of homes... While making this list, I had a strong feeling that in this batch...we were going to find our home! There were good options, but one I really liked and felt really good about and couldn't wait to see it. On Sunday we went driving around to check out the areas and the homes (in real life). We drove by the possibilities and thought ok.. but when we came to the one... we both looked at each other and said " I like it" and the neighborhood is great! We proceeded to look at all of the homes on our list, but ended up crossing off 3/4 of them. All I could think about was the one!

We sent them to Andy and scheduled a time to go look
We have been praying like crazy to help us find the right house..

Thursday night we walked through it. Andy said there were 2 others scheduled to see it the same night. We both got done looking and I said " I like it" (which I think might have only happened 1 other time in a home way more than our max price) and then Brandon said "I like it too". We looked out the window and saw people waiting in their cars to come look. It felt like HOME, so we drove up to Brigham and put an offer in on it without looking at any of the others on our list.
YEP.. WE FINALLY PUT AN OFFER IN ON A HOME!!
IT feels so right
Brandon told me tonight that he has been having dreams of us living there!
On the way to Brigham, I KNEW it was the right one and so did Brandon!

Now..... WE WAIT TO HEAR BACK!!

6 MONTHS

Braylie is 6 months old!

I had some pictures done.. I will post them when I get 'em!
can't wait to see!

It is insane how fast time has gone!
I constantly remind myself to live in the now and enjoy every second in the now!
Before I know it she will be leaving me to go to college and I don't want to miss anything in between wishing she would stop, although I think this constantly!
I really am trying!!! :)
-----
15.9 lbs--43%
26 inches--61%
she did really good with her shots, but I think she got a little fever later that night.. she couldn't sleep and was SO hot.
nothing a little Tylenol couldn't help

-----
Things she is doing at 6 months:

grabbing and holding objects (balls)
sitting by herself
roll front to back and back to front
discovering her voice and gets louder and louder when she hears herself
Turns at any sound
starting to wake up earlier... :(
won't eat cereal--she only wants that milk!
working on drinking from sippy
jumps when she stands... thanks to the jumperoo
can pull her binky in and out--plays with it
she is VERY vocal
gets sad when she can't see anyone in the room
discovering her and mom's toes--she just stares at them
turns sideways in her bumbo and doesn't sit straight
grabs anything within reach
grabs at Dad's glasses
loves to pull and eat hair!
can do so many things (small motor) with her toys (i.e. pulling levers, pushing buttons, etc)
starting to be able to really just sit and play..
likes to play with her stacking cups

loves when Dad comes home... she gets the hugest smile for him!!
Makes you want to melt!
wants to help with whatever you are doing
still won't cuddle :(
loves to see herself in the mirror
played peek a boo for the 1st time (1-9-10)
(one night she just randomly started doing this and she would laugh!! SO stinkin cute! I was not feeling good (sinus infection) and it totally made my day! I got it on video, but I have no idea how to post it!)
she loves when I sing to her..even though I can't carry a tune to save my life.. maybe she knows that and is laughing at me!!
LOVES the bathtub and starting to splash
tries to sit up anywhere.. she hates laying down and lifts her arms and legs really stiff till you let her sit

She is growing up so fast and surprises me every day she learns something new.
Even though they grow up so fast, it is so fun to watch them learn new things!!

NO WAY!!

We tried feeding Braylie her first taste of rice cereal.
(1-3-10)

None of it stayed in her mouth...she
spit it right back out!

I thought they were supposed to like this!
She has been so ready for this for so long and watches us eat in interest.
I thought for sure that she would love it!

We have tried a couple times and used different consistencies, oatmeal, baby food, etc... she just will not eat it!

What a stink!!

Maybe she thinks "why in the world are you trying to shove this stuff in my mouth and everytime I try to put something in, you pull it out!"
Or maybe we have spoiled her with breast milk only!
I am really thinking after talking to the Dr..she just doesn't like the texture and we will just keep trying!!

She did eat a little sweet potatoes for Brandon, so maybe we are making some progress.

Everyone figures it out eventually... she is really testing my patience!!

Good thing that she is so darn cute!
Next thing on list: Get her to like that darn sippy cup!

She puts it in her mouth and will just gum it and spit out anything she gets! :)

Welcome 2010!!!

..................FOOD POISONING............

Can you think of a better way for us to start 2010?
:)

Brandon loves that he can sit and watch football all day and I will let him!!
I think he might be a little dramatic! j/k

Would I recommend it to anyone!!??? NO WAY!!!!

Hope your New Year is better than ours is so far!!

More posts below as I promised!!

Merry Christmas to ALL!!!

DISCLAIMER: PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*****
Bergeson Christmas party
It was fun to be able to see everyone!!!

Grandma and Grandpa are both battling cancer and have amazingly positive attitudes and are fighters!!
We love you guys!!
the grandkids and great-grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa... This is only some of us!!

We love being able to spend time with family...
We were kind of in a hurry to get to the Utah State game and get Braylie dropped off at Grandma's. We got to the game late and left early, cus for some reason Braylie was super sad (Brandon thinks she was mad we left her home and didn't take her to the USU game) and was crying the whole time we were gone. She ruined her good reputation!! Little stinker! :)

*****
Tree

We got our Christmas tree up.. I really thought about not doing it, but I couldn't stand it not being up for Braylie's 1st Christmas. She had her 1st ornament to add to the tree from Grandma Goldsberry.

Usually I am very particular about what goes on my tree and how it looks... this year...it doesn't look the greatest!! I am just happy it got put up and could care less that it wasn't perfect!

*****
Temple Square

We rode front runner to Temple Square.

Braylie was wide awake the whole time we were on the train. The second we stepped off, she fell asleep and was asleep for the whole temple square and shopping at Gateway excursion! The second we got back on Front Runner.. she was awake. I guess that was her favorite part! :) It was super cold!!!

*****

Christmas dress
I did't get a really good picture, but you get the idea!! :)
*****
Christmas Eve
We had Christmas eve at my Dad's and ate a yummy ham dinner.

Braylie loved her toy and didn't stop starring at it!! Thanks Dad/Grandpa!!

*****
jammies and nativity

We finished off the night at my Mom's doing a nativity with the kids. Braylie was baby Jesus and wasn't too excited about any of it! :)
we opened our Christmas jammies...

and had cocoa and toast... MMMMMMMMMM!!!
I really wish I would have gotten pictures of eating...
We all had kitchen towels on as bibs so we wouldn't spill on our new jammies!
Christmas morning....
Santa found Brays!

She was so spoiled!
Brandon and I had some differing of opinions on how "Santa" should be done!!
Oh the joys of different family traditions!

She, of course, loved the paper and ribbons the most..
*****
and
finally........

Christmas night
!!!!
Spent that night with the Goldsberry clan.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Goldsberry for the cutest USU outfit!!
Dad is so proud!!

The girls surrounding Braylie... she does not go without attention for sure!! There hasn't been a baby on the Goldsberry side for 3 years!

Braylie did so good all day with hardly any sleep. I kept waking her up towards the end of the night to open presents and take a family picture, etc... She didn't cry once!!
She is THE BEST EVER!!

Thanks to everyone for all the gifts and for making our 1st CHRISTMAS as a family PERFECT!!

a little more of Brays

She loves her Jumperoo... perfect the wiggle worm that she is!! She jumps even when she isn't in this thing!
my happy little Brays....
I wish the boots were more visable!! They are now way too small! :(

she is sitting up... andthis really is the best picture I have!!??
Do you think she might be tired??
So cute....
Stay tuned for her 6 mo update!!! I can't believe it!!
Yes.. I am aware that I missed 5 months!! Here is her "5 mo" picture.
She was too busy arching her back and trying to get away!
