...football with dad...

Brandon has looked forward to this for so long.....
Someone to watch and enjoy football with him!!
He always talked about holding her in his rocking chair (another favorite) and watching football together!!

Braylie is the perfect little football companion...her eyes are glued and she doesn't move! Sometimes she gets a little too comfy and falls asleep! :)

...1st campout...

We headed up the canyon this last weekend and had a little dutchoven dinner and campout.

We were a little worried about Braylie getting too cold. We bundled her right up and put her between us. Every time either of us would wake up, we would reach over and feel her to make sure she wasn't too cold and was still breathing! :) I think we probably did it 100 times between the two of us. She still slept SO GOOD!!! She didn't wake up at all till about 7:00 and was her cute little smiling self!

I LOVE THAT GIRL!!!

---lovin' the space---

- - - - -

Braylie has been sleeping in a moses basket since she was born. I noticed that she was starting to outgrow it quite quickly and she wasn't sleeping as well as she should. She would try to stretch out and get comfy, but she couldn't. I told Brandon it was time to go get the crib (we had it picked out and partially paid for--they were holding it for us). We got it set up and the first day Braylie slept in it, I walked in and found this! :)
Do you think she likes the space!!??

Here is a picture of the crib... It is sad when your 2 month old child has a nicer bed than you! :) I LOVE IT!! I need to do the crib skirt to make it complete!

{ 2 MONTHS }

I have to keep reminding myself that babies are supposed to grow and get bigger!
Braylie is now 2 months old (as of Sept 11th)!!!
She had her 2 month checkup today.
Everything looks great.
We are BLESSED!!

*
10 lbs 12 oz--45th percentile
22.5 inches--51th percentile
Head 38.4 inches--37th percentile

*

She also got her belly button cauterized because it had granulated tissue in it and was still oozing stuff. So that started the discomfort and then came the shots. (That is what the crap is on her shirt).

I HATE SHOTS!!

*
She, of course, screamed!!! I have never heard her scream like that.. POOR THING!!
She calmed down pretty quick and has done really good so far. Thank goodness for infant Tylenol.

- - - Our little Braylie - - -

Braylie is getting so big and is starting to smile, coo, and talk. I LOVE IT! She doesn't fit in many of her newborn clothes anymore and it makes me so sad. The 0-3 month clothes are getting a little snug and I am guessing that she is around 11-12 pounds!!! She is holding her head up so good!! She still sleeps really good. Being a mom is the best and everything that I dreamed of! I am going to have the hardest time going back to work! I hope that I can make it all work!! I need to be a lot more organized than I have been, but I know it is possible!

...What's been going on...

So much has happened and I have been so awful at updating the blog, so this might be a long one!

*****
Brandon started working.
He is still enjoying it. They have kept him super busy, but it is all good. Good way to learn!
*****
Brandon got his graduation gift 4 months after he graduated!
He was waiting till he had enough money! I think I benefit from this gift as well!
*****
We moved.
This is the only picture I got. I needed somewhere to put Braylie where she wouldn't get in the way. We put her in the closet. She slept for quite awhile here with all the chaos! She was such a good baby the whole day!! We are so extremely blessed to have such a good baby!

We moved to Layton. We are on the bottom floor now (no stairs) and in a little bit bigger apartment. HOORAY!! That makes me sound so lazy, but 3 flights of stairs got REALLY old every time you left the house! Thanks everyone that helped! We could not have done it without you!! We like it here. We are still trying to get comfortable with a new place. Brandon loves coming home for lunch and not having to commute. This move, for some reason, was extremely stressful for both of us and wore us right out! We are still house hunting and being extremely picky with it! We don't have long to get the 8000.00 credit!

*****
We celebrated Brandon's 31st b-day
on Sep 1, that he also shares with my sister, Cara.

*****
We blessed Braylie.
The day was wonderful. We did the blessing in our old ward in SLC. Brandon gave Braylie a beautiful blessing!!! The microphone wasn't working which was too bad. I wish everyone could have heard the blessing!! She lost her shoe on the way up, so she only had one shoe.. but it is ok! She didn't make a peep.
The dress is my dress that I was blessed in 27 years ago. It was a tad bit short on little Braylie, so my mom added a few layers. My mom originally made the dress and Great Grandma Glover tatted the lace on it. I love that it had that special meaning!
We had the lunch afterwards at Brandon's brother's house. It turned out great and Mom did an AWESOME dessert that didn't help in getting rid of this baby weight! :) It was a super fun day to celebrate and spend with family and friends. We were exhausted. I still can't figure out why it is so exhausting. Braylie slept SO GOOD all night and the next morning she was so tired!!
I do have pictures of us as a family, but they are on a different camera that I don't have.
When we were taking pictures before...she was so happy and smiling like crazy. I think she could see all those angels surrounding her and there for her special day!

Watch for more pics to come over the next couple days!
