The Papa!!!!

HOLY CRAP!! We are supposed to eat all of this?

This is to try to show how big it really is compared to our hands.

Feedin the baby!! :)

We went and helped my Dad move into a bigger apartment this afternoon. Afterwards we went to get some dinner. We all got a pizza to just share thinking we would barely have enough for all of us. We had no idea it was going to be this big!!! It is 23" (THE PAPA). We were freaking out because we have never seen a pizza this big! It had a good 20 pieces in it and each piece was at least a foot long (as you can see from Matt's picture). I am still so sick and so full and I only ate one piece!! I don't think the picture does it justice. They said if we can finish it, they would take our picture and put in on the wall and we thought it would be no problem.. now we know why there aren't any other pictures on the wall!! :) We barely ate half of it and had to box up the rest of it for leftovers which will feed us all for another meal!!

This last picture Hadlee thought it was cool that we both had jolly ranchers and she kept showing it to me on the tip of her tounge.

NO GARLIC!!

For those of you who don't already know.. we don't eat much garlic! Anything that I cook, I leave the garlic out of it, because Brandon HATES garlic. He can smell it from a mile away and even if I eat something that has a tiny bit of garlic in it.. he can smell it on my breath!! He won't eat the bread at most restaurants because they all have garlic and.. try finding meals at restaurants that don't have garlic in them! He was runined on his mission when his companion made a
"garlic surprise" for dinner that made Brandon sick for days! :) My family and others usually make Brandon his own little dish of food of no garlic if they are using it! And I thought I was picky!! haha.. jk.
We went to dinner at the pizza factory with Matt, Elise, & Cohen and Brad, Emily, & Macey over the weekend and while we were waiting, we noticed this saying on the wall. It says "A CHEF WHO USES GARLIC NEVER FAILS" in Italian. Brandon strongly disagrees!! I had to take a picture of him by it!

hike with scouts

Brandon went on a hike with the scouts on Saturday to Dog Lake (Cottonwood Canyon). Brandon is really enjoying being in the scouts. He said that they hiked most of the way in snow and the lake had about 6 inches of slush on it. He was excited to be able to go out and hike again and I am glad I didn't have to go! :) . Although we are planning a little hiking/ camping trip later this summer with our friends..hiking in and camping overnight. I am actually kind of excited to go on that. I hope I am in shape enough to make it! I have wanted to go camping for A LONG time. In the 4 years that Brandon and I have been married.. we have NEVER been camping together--he has all the gear.. we have just never gone! NO.. that is not Brandon in the cowboy hat :) , that is the other leader!

BLAZE

Saturday night Emily called and told us that they had a few extra tickets to the Blaze game, so we were able to go. Brandon was a little hesitant about going because they haven't been very good this year, but I convinced him to go. We had a good time. They even won!! Thanks Brad and Em!

Craziness

I have to apologize for my extremely boring blog!!
I have been really busy the last couple weeks and I have no reason why! I just feel like the nights (after work) are never long enough to get anything done and I don't even have children yet to make my life crazy!! Agh!
We had my cousin staying with us for a week untill she could move into her apartment. That isn't even what made me busy.. we could hardly even tell that she was here. I felt like we just drug her around with us in our craziness! :)
I have been busy just doing a lot of random projects (sewing burpcloths, fruit leather,
re-organizing my closets, making treats to sell at our work bake sale, running random errands all over SLC, etc and still finding time to make dinner, workout and clean my house and watch some of my fav shows) in addition to working my 40 hours /wk. I just need a couple more hours in the night. Good thing that Brandon helps me do the laundry!! :) I have a feeling it is just going to get worse too, but will totally be worth it!
Brandon doesn't get home from work till like 6:00 every night, because he works with a single lady that would rather sleep in till 10:00 and then come in to work and stay late. It drives us crazy!! : And to make it worse.. he is working for FREE! GRR!! We are actually paying for him to work. ONE MORE YEAR!!!
We went to St. George last weekend to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Bergeson. They are amazing people and we look up to them and wish them the best!! Thanks to them for letting us stay and creating some fun memories. It got pretty hot, but most of the time we were inside, so it wasn't too bad! We tried to lay out and get some sun before we came home, but I didn't last too long before I wanted to scream because it was so hot. Finally we got the great idea to sit in the sprinkler and let it hit us while we sat in the sun. I don't have any pics of this.. nobody is seeing me in a swim suit! YIKES! I did get a little sun to start my tan. The boys all went golfing in the morning and Brandon came back burnt! Brandon says that was one of the funnest games of golf he has played in a long time and he even got some pointers from Grandpa on what he needed to do to be better. I tried to send the camera with Brandon for some pics, but I guess he is too cool to take pictures while he golfs!

We of course also did some shopping and stopped to grab a bite to eat at the new IN n OUT in St. George. Brandon is bummed we don't have one closer.. I was not in the mood to eat a hamburger in that heat, but it actually tasted REALLY good. The place was packed.--we were lucky to get a table!

It is never fun to come home to work after a vacation, but we survived.

We went and hit range balls last week for FHE with Cara and Matt and their friends. Brandon's driver broke. Stupid thing.. He broke the other one on his first golf trip of the season. The head fell right off when he went to swing.. good thing it didn't hit anyone!! So.. his golf clubs are without any drivers! Golf is such an expensive sport!


Brandon finally had a free Saturday today, so he is washing and waxing the vehicles. For some reason, I can't stand to wax the cars so he does it alone. Good thing that he will do it. I have an awesome husband!

Orange julius, popcorn, and The Jazz!!

Every time I eat popcorn, I get the craving for orange julius. They just have to go together!! There weren't many Sundays that went by growing up that Dad did not whip up a batch of popcorn and Mom made orange julius or purple cow! What better snack to have while watching a little bit of Jazz basketball! :) Here is Brandon with his drink in what else besides his Utah State glass!!! Yum!!!

Happy Mothers Day MOM!! Thanks for everything that you have taught me and helped me to become!! I don't know how I would have made it to this point in my life without YOU!! You are amazing!
I also want to say Happy Mother's Day to Brandon's mom. I know that she won't see this, but I am so grateful for her and most of all for raising such a fantastic son!!!
