27 years ago today......

I WAS BORN!!!

1. I was born on March 15, 1982
2. I was born in Driggs, Idaho
3. I was 21 inches long---What happend I am super short now.
4. I weighed 7 pounds 7 oz--smallest of all my siblings
5. I had L O N G fingers
6. I had L O N G toes
7. I had dark hair---not a lot at birth, but it grew fast. My hair has ALWAYS been long.. as soon as it could be anyway.
8. I was the second child---me and my older sister were 22 months apart.
9. My original due date was March 5 (my aunt MaShel's b-day)
10. I was born a day before my Grandpa Hartshorns birthday (March 16th). I guess I needed my own day! Weird because my mom thought I looked like Grandpa Hartshorn when I was born
11. My parents liked the name Bridget and the pretty ring it had to it
12. My middle name is after my two great grandma's (Mae and May..hence the Maye).
13. The hospital I was born in only had about 10 rooms
14. The Dr. that delivered me was named Dr. Head
15. We lived in Tetonia, Idaho when I was born. We lived in a trailer home behind Grandma and Grandpas store that Mom and Dad ran... where our handprints once were in the cement.. I don't remember what happened to em!
16. My mom was only 21 when she had me
17. I have been told that when I used to drink my bottle my eyes went crazy... (microscawjawwiner---I am not making this diagnosis up... it really does exist.. go ask Dr. Anderson at the U of U)!
18. I was my mom's favorite baby... sorry sisters! :)
19. I was blessed on May 2nd by my Dad. My blessing dress was made by mom Mom out of lots of lace that Great Grandma Glover tatted for me.
20. I would cry all the way home to Tetonia after we left Grandma's cus I wanted her
21. I was always sick and caught every sickness that went around--my voice was hoarse a lot
22. I loved playing with dolls
23. I NEVER liked animals. Funny how things that start so young become WHO YOU ARE!
24. When I got older, I HATED wearing pants with zippers.. I would only wear pants with elastic!
25. I always wanted to be 'going'. If the car went somewhere, I was in it......with my purse that was completely organized with pen, paper and anything else I might need.
26. I didn't have a binkie after 6 months or a bottle after 12 months---I plan to carry this on for sure!!!
27. I never sucked my thumb and I was potty trained as soon as I turned 2!

Here she is!!!

This picture is my favorite!!! We, of course, think that she is perfect and I cannot stand not being able to hold her right NOW!

The appointment went GREAT!! The ultrasound tech was so nice and explained what she was seeing or checking during the whole visit. I had a hard time seeing it all, but Brandon knew exactly what she was looking at. I am going to have Brandon watch the whole thing with me again and explain it to me where I can see straight on and not on an angle!

She said that everything looks perfect! Oh man.. all my worrying for nothing! :) We are SO BLESSED! It took us so long to get her here and we are so excited!!!

Our little one takes after her Dad and has quite the hyper little personality. She was moving like crazy and let us see everything we wanted! I have started to feel her a lot and I think that explains why! :) The tech said that she was pretty much turning in circles the whole time!

She has super long toes and fingers and her second toe is WAY longer than the first... SORRY..that would be from ME!

The tech loved the name that we have picked out. I am sorry I just have something about not posting it yet! Soon enough...have to keep something a surprise! :)

It is so amazing to me that we can get a little glimpse of her when she is only 12 oz!! Brandon is thinking that she is looking like a GOLDSBERRY, but we can't figure out where that nose is coming from! :) Yes... they spelled my name wrong!

It is so exciting. Now I can continue my girl shopping and start on my quilt and projects!!!

HOME SWEET HOME!!!

We made it home on Friday night. Brandon's parents helped us load all of our junk that we hauled up there into our cars. It is a good thing that we have our cute little truck or we NEVER would have made it home with everything (work computer, clothes, my cricut machine, everything we bought for our baby---car seat/stroller, clothes etc). IT took us awhile of hauling loads into our apartment (3 flights of stairs). I was huffing and puffing. That seems to happen a lot these days! :) There was a lot to unpack. I was going to take a picture of it all, but I have the best husband in the world that went to town helping me get it all put away before I could even find the camera! I was so stinkin' excited to be HOME that I was nearly in tears! We stayed in bed FOREVER Saturday morning because our bed felt like HEAVEN! There is just something about being HOME!

Thanks to our families for EVERYTHING!!! The yummy food, the fun time we had spending time together, the laughs, our outings, and the memories. We have the best families around! It was so great to not have to be alone during those 8 weeks and always having someone around. Thanks to Cara, Hadlee, and Cora for the little distractions and breaks from work and keeping me sane during the day!! I won't know what to do here when I am alone during the day!
I have noticed at work at how forgetful I am getting! I find myself having to ask questions on things that came so easily and I had down before. YIKES!! I draw more blanks than even before! Luckilly everyone at work is VERY understanding. It just drives me CRAZY, but having a little one in the end will be so worth it!

We have our next appt on Wednesday! This is the targeted ultrasound. We might be able to get a tiny idea of what she might look like and MAKE sure that she is a girl!!

Brandon was really bummed that he couldn't finish the last 8 weeks of his internship in Logan. He worked in the inpatient part of PT and LOVED every second of it. IT really surprised me that he loved it so much when coming a little too close to being pooped on a couple times!! For those of you that know Brandon.... you know what I mean! LOL!!! He always had good stories to tell when he got home! This next internship is with Neuro patients, which is totally different, but it will be good experience and hopefully he will enjoy it also! He is applying for jobs and definitely looking forward to GRADUATON!!! I am so grateful that he chose the profession that he did in the scary economy right now. There will also be a need for healthcare and PT. There might not be oodles of positions, but we both feel pretty good about him finding a job here in Northern Utah. Everything will work out!

HALFWAY THERE!!

I hit my halfway mark on Tuesday (20 weeks). It is very exciting that it has gone so fast, but I know and have been told the second half doesn't always go so fast! Too bad....cus I am dying to have her here, but I know she still has a lot of growing to do. I have a belly and people are starting to notice. The only bad thing.. it isn't cute like everyone else's around this time cus I am a little larger... it just looks like I am really fat. :) I am so embarassed to post the picture for the world to see, but I guess it isn't any different from what I look like in real life! :)

****I have started to feel her move quite a bit****
I told Brandon the other night that I could feel her moving and he got so excited and got a huge smile on his face. He was like a little kid at Christmas!

Brandon was walking on cloud 9 the other day and he is not one to really get excited. I asked him what he was so thrilled about and he said he was just really excited about all the fun and exciting stuff that will be coming our way in the next couple months (graduation, new job, new house, baby, etc). I think most of it might be graduation! :)

We have been staying in Brigham with Brandon's parents while he was doing his internship in Logan (which he LOVED more than he thought he would). My work was awesome and let me bring my computer up here to work. I HATED being alone. We are so grateful to everyone for letting us stay, cooking us meals, being in your way all the time, etc, but we are so ready to go back home this weekend! Brandon will start up his last internship next week.

When I go to do a post all my options to choose the size of font and to center it, etc is GONE... When I even edit.. it isn't there and only shows the html. How do I get it back?

Brandon's 2 best girls....

Brandon probably wouldn't allow me to post this if he knew, but I thought it was super cute, so I am going to! :) Shh.. don't tell! Oh and bytheway...Sorry for the boring no picture posts.

I've got nothin!

Last night we were doing the 30 day shred---(don't worry... I customized mine to a pregnancy workout) and when it first starts, Jilian introduces the girls doing it with her and says "I've got my two best girls here". Brandon being the crazy person he is was making fun of her and said it like she did. I looked at him and said.. "Hey.. you only have one best girl (meaning me)". Yes... I have quite a jealousy problem at times. Anyway.. I didn't expect his response. He looked at me and said "NO, TWO" and pointed to me and then to my belly! :)

I know it is kind of cheesy, but I thought it was so cute!

He is going to be such an excellent Dad to our little girl! I CAN'T WAIT!

I think that we probably have our name picked out too, with a few alternates just in case. We haven't decided on the spelling yet though and I don't really want to announce it quite yet! I will when it gets closer.

I am feeling really good. I now have quite the pooch that I can for sure tell is there.. not sure if anyone else notices, but I can't wear my pants anymore, which is never a good feeling, but the end result is all worth it! I am feeling a little overwhelmed when I start thinking about all the things that we have to buy! It doesn't help that the crib I want and LOVE is only 500.00!!! Why do I have such expensive taste? :) I also found fabric for the cutest quilt ever for her bedding that she can keep forever, which I think will be fun.

She better not turn out to be a boy! jk! :)

IT'S A...........

bAbY gIrL!!!

Dr. H. said that he is extremely confident and overly cocky about the findings! Neither Brandon or I could see the 3 lines that he tried to show us, but he said " just trust me", so we will!

I did feel a girl from the beginning, but after everyone kept saying BOY and having dreams about our new dark haired little boy.. I started to question myself! When he said GIRL..I was a little shocked!! I guess my motherly intuition is right on!! I think that all of these little girls coming into our family and friends might have had a plan.. we better WATCH OUT!

We cannot wait!!! Seriously... 5 more months till we get to meet her?

Brandon was a little bummed at first that it wasn't a boy, but what Dad doesn't want a little boy to follow him around and takes to the ball games and go golfing, etc. When we walked out Brandon said.." oh man.. she is not going to want to go golfing and to the games with me!" THen he thought about it for a second and said " I don't care... she is going kicking or screaming!" You all know as well as I do that she will be wrapped around his little finger in no time! :)

We are both super excited and go grateful that she is healthy!!

Sorry to everyone who has checked 30 times.. I was going to post last night, but we were at Brandon's parents and Brandon was on their computer all night working on an assignment and I fell asleep!
