If you haven't guessed already.. the baby's name starts with a B!! :) No, we didn't do it on purpose to go with our names. I am still wanting to keep it a surprise. Sorry for all of you that are dying to know! Hopefully not too much longer!! I have loved the name since High School and so glad that we still like it and it isn't super common!
We had our 39 week appointment yesterday.
*Only dilated to a 1
*Cervix still hasn't dropped where it needs to, but more than last week--NO THINING
*She weighs 6 lbs and 15 oz--only 1 oz more from last week
I thought for sure I was going to have a huge baby and this week she would weigh 8 pounds!! SO GLAD that is not true!! He said that if I haven't had her by my next appt. (1 day after my due date and little Cora's birthday), then we would see if I need to be induced or schedule a c-section. He said that if I am not dilated to a 2 or 3 by then.... induction will definitely lead to C-section because my body just isn't ready to do it and it would be best to probably just schedule a C-section. He won't let me go past 41 weeks. I am praying that it will all just happen really fast and she will just come on her own this weekend!!

you will do fine with a c-section. I promise! I've had 3 and would do it again in a heartbeat! its the pregnant part that i hate. really! come watch my kids for a day. You'll have her that night.
I'm sorry, I really didn't want you to have to be like me and go way past. I don't know if you talked to Dr H. about it yesterday, but what I told you about before is really supposed to help with thinning the cervix. (If you have been trying it and it isn't working...SORRY!) I hope that she comes soon for you, I know how HORRIBLE it can be to just wait.
If you do have a c-section make sure to bring one of those after pregnancy elastic support waist bands. They really help!!! I couldn't walk without mine for several weeks. Good Luck!!
I hope she comes soon! Our next little girls name will start with a B. I am waiting to see if its the same! LOL (No I am not expecting but Curtis has all our kids names picked out. He sucks) Hopefully you are staying cool and comfy! I had to get started almost a month early and everything went great, I hope everything goes good for you!
I'm guessing the baby name. Brynlee...haha C-section or not, you'll do awesome! It's the getting up and down that is the worst w/a c-section.
don't let these other scare you! You have a way higher pain tolerance than I do. I only took lortab for a day after I got home. Dr. H is WONDERFULL!!
I can't wait for the name! I am so excited for you two. ALMOST THERE! :)
and look at you today you are in the hospital cus your water broke! ITS HERE! but now i am still waiting for baby B******! HURRY
