Sharing my Day with someone special!

We attended my sweet, loving Grandma's funeral on my 28th birthday!!

I am honored to have been able to share my day with an amazing lady who I will FOREVER look up to!

-little Brays at the viewing.. she is so hyper ALL THE TIME!
and my cousin's cute little girls..

At the mortuary, they had a life size statue of an old lady passing through the veil and coming out as a beautiful young woman greeting Christ!
I LOVED IT!
It completely put my mind at peace knowing that Grandma is happy!
The funeral was excellent.
I learned some things about Grandma that I didn't know.
It is hard to lose someone, but I can't imagine not having the knowledge of the gospel and knowing that we will be reunited one day!
All the grandkids sang "A child's prayer". It was so hard to sing and we were so in and out and squeaky (from crying). On top of that.. none of us are singers. I am sure that we sounded excellent, but I know that Grandma thought it was beautiful and that is all that matters!

We traveled home and stopped in HOREM (as Brandon calls it---a.k.a OREM) with the family and ate dinner at the Brick Oven. Earlier we did a little birthday shopping and got some fun new things for my house... Thanks family!!
Just so everyone knows...
I am SO aware that I am in desperate need of losing 40 pounds!!
Brandon got me the dang cutest shoes!

He assured me there was more coming...the next day when we got home from the burial services in Idaho..there was a huge package on my door from Target. It was this cute chair:

I love it!
He did such a good job!
I am impressed!
LOVE YOU HONEY!!

The next day.. we traveled to Blackfoot for Grandma's burial services.

love you grandma forever and always!!

I just want to link everyone to your post because I don't want to blog. LOL!

You couldn't have said it better about Grandma. I will always strive to be just like her.

And...the 40 pounds. Shall we run the race for the cure instead of walk. Think we can be ready my May!
