Our little vacay...

We decided to have a little getaway for our anniversary this year and kind of made it into a family vacation.
6 years together and hoping for many more!!!
We went to the Tahiti resort and spa in Vegas and yes, we took Braylie with us. I can't even stand the thought of leaving her yet, plus she is still nursing and needs her Momma! ;)

THE first time we tried to get in the pool it was way too cold and Bray just shivered, so we got out and tried the next day..
Bray had a hard time getting used to the water. I thought she would love playing in the sand but I had to sit with her and play till she warmed up, then we stayed for hours she loved it so much!

I think she ate a pound of sand... here she is going for it.
Brandon made her this little pool of her own
went to the lazy river...
We wished we could have spent a little more time in the lazy river, but somone pooped and it was closed the rest of the day and the day before we spent most of our time in the pool.
There was a shallow area, so we just let Bray crawl around and play in the water. She did really good to not go off the edge. She kept dipping her face in the water and would giggle to herself! :)
Braylie only got called a boy once (she did have a blueish swimming suit and a boy looking life jacket on. The hair is coming, people, it really is!
Braylie had a fascination with the stroller when it was parked against the door. We found her after she had climbed into it herself one time.
Braylie had a rough couple nights.. the first night we got there, we were going to go swimming, but she was playing with something on the table and one fell..she tried to get it and slipped and banged her nose pretty hard on the table... She cried for awhile AND cried herself to sleep.
The next day... we were getting ready and she was sitting on the bed playing while I cleaned some stuff up. I was keeping an eye on her, but not close enough....She fell off the bed..and it was a HIGh one! Here is her mark...Poor thing!
Little Bray was so exhausted at the end of each day.

We had a great time and it was so nice to have a little break and get to be a full time mom and wife for a couple days and not have to worry about anything else! Oh how I wish I could do that permanently (count your blessings stay at home moms... i would trade you any day!) :)
