NO WAY!!

We tried feeding Braylie her first taste of rice cereal.
(1-3-10)

None of it stayed in her mouth...she
spit it right back out!

I thought they were supposed to like this!
She has been so ready for this for so long and watches us eat in interest.
I thought for sure that she would love it!

We have tried a couple times and used different consistencies, oatmeal, baby food, etc... she just will not eat it!

What a stink!!

Maybe she thinks "why in the world are you trying to shove this stuff in my mouth and everytime I try to put something in, you pull it out!"
Or maybe we have spoiled her with breast milk only!
I am really thinking after talking to the Dr..she just doesn't like the texture and we will just keep trying!!

She did eat a little sweet potatoes for Brandon, so maybe we are making some progress.

Everyone figures it out eventually... she is really testing my patience!!

Good thing that she is so darn cute!
Next thing on list: Get her to like that darn sippy cup!

She puts it in her mouth and will just gum it and spit out anything she gets! :)

Jaxson didn't have anythign but breast milk until 6 months as well. HE LOVED LOVED LOVED TO NURSE. I nursed til he was 18 months old. aaggghh. I loved it...but most people would die:) hee hee. they get spoiled...but they eventually eat it. I would mix the cereal with breat milk...making it really runny (more like thick breast milk:) and eventually made it thicker over the weeks. He grew to love it.

He also loved sweet potatoes...but didn't really try too many baby foods until he was 10 months old.

just be so grateful she loves to nurse...I can't imagine what I'd do if I had a baby that wouldn't! can you?

she is adorable. seriously bridget..one of the cutest baby girls I've seen.

It took Kaylee a little while to like cereal, but she LOVES her veggies! We have to make the cereal a little more pasty than watery, or she won't eat it. She'll figure out the whole eating thing soon enough.
